Dr. Jeffrey D. Smith completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic at New York Chiropractic College
in Seneca Falls, NY. He earned a
Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT, majoring in
Neuroscience and Behavior. Dr. Smith graduated from the Berkshire School
in Sheffield, MA, after attending Canandaigua Academy and Lessing Gymnasium in
Germany.
Prior to opening 2 clinics in 2010, Dr. Jeff treated
patients at Monroe Community Hospital and St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center in
Rochester, as well as the Bath and Canandaigua Veterans Administration
Chiropractic Clinics. Providing
service and pain relief to the veterans was especially rewarding to Dr. Jeff considering their service to our country.
Prior to attending NYCC, Dr. Jeff worked with several health-related organizations in the region. He has dedicated over 12 years of
service to Thompson Hospital in the Laboratory. Dr. Jeff also worked as the Senior Polysomnographer for the
Finger Lakes Sleep Disorders Center, and spent several years as a Tissue
Coordinator with the Rochester / Finger Lakes Eye and Tissue Bank. He encourages everyone to discuss
the options concerning tissue donation with their family members.
Dr. Jeff is a native and resident of Canandaigua, with his
wife, 2 children and black lab. He enjoys most outdoor activities including
hiking, biking, camping, boating, hunting
and gardening. He loves
sports, playing lacrosse and soccer, as well as collegiate hockey.
