Meet the Doctor

Dr. Jeffrey D. Smith completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic at New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT, majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior.  Dr. Smith graduated from the Berkshire School in Sheffield, MA, after attending Canandaigua Academy and Lessing Gymnasium in Germany.

Prior to opening 2 clinics in 2010, Dr. Jeff treated patients at Monroe Community Hospital and St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center in Rochester, as well as the Bath and Canandaigua Veterans Administration Chiropractic Clinics.  Providing service and pain relief to the veterans was especially rewarding to Dr. Jeff considering their service to our country.

Prior to attending NYCC, Dr. Jeff worked with several health-related organizations in the region.  He has dedicated over 12 years of service to Thompson Hospital in the Laboratory.  Dr. Jeff also worked as the Senior Polysomnographer for the Finger Lakes Sleep Disorders Center, and spent several years as a Tissue Coordinator with the Rochester / Finger Lakes Eye and Tissue Bank.  He encourages everyone to discuss the options concerning tissue donation with their family members.

Dr. Jeff is a native and resident of Canandaigua, with his wife, 2 children and black lab. He enjoys most outdoor activities including hiking, biking, camping, boating, hunting and gardening.  He loves sports, playing lacrosse and soccer, as well as collegiate hockey.
